GENERAL RULES

  • 01
    The School begins at 7:20 a.m. and Ends at 02:00 p.m.

    All Students are to be in their respective classrooms by the stroke of the first bell at 7:25 a.m. those who come earlier are to occupy their respective seats and revise their lessons in silence. Late comers are to report to the Principal.

    No student can leave the school premises during the school hours without the Principal's permission.

    All students should greet teachers, elders respected personalities and one another especially when they are in the school premises.

    Student should speak English in class rooms, in the campus and in the school conveyance.

    Student should feel it below their dignity to shout, quarrel, loiter, disturb the peace of others, use foul language and the like, Besides they are not supposed to carry any articles except study materils.

    Irregular attendance without any information is sufficient reason for the dismissal of a student.

    Students are not suppossed to loiter on the Verandah during class hours. If even they have to move, do so in an orderly manner not disturbing the neighbouring classes.

    Teachers are duty bound to report to the Principal or the class teacher any information regarding any decline in class discipline. If a teacher fails to come to class even after the expiry of three minutes after the bell the class leader will bring to moto to the attention of the principal. In the absence of the teacher, students must enjoy themselves in the silent study.

    Student are to bring their diary and should be produced on demand by the Principal or any teacher.

    They are prohibited from doing daily any money transactions among themselves, while in school.

    Lost and found article and money should immediately be handded ever to the principal's office. The owner of lost articles should also report the matter to her at the earliest.

    Student are newly admitted on the basic of their performance in the entrance test and the interview conducted by the school.

    Those who are absent from class continuously for five days or more without formal intimation will have their names removed from the rolls. Any re-admission on genuine request needs the formalities of a new admission.

    The reason for the absence is to be explained in the school diary and signed by the parent/guardian. No leave of absence from examination is generally granted.

    No student will be sent home even in urgent cases, unless a duly authorised person's report with a written request from the parents.

    Progress report stating the academic progress of each student is sent after the annual examination. The person who sign the progress report may be either father, mother or guardian, the specimen signatures of whom are given in the checklist of each student Class teacher will verify the signatures.

    Parents and guardians are cordially welcome to inquire the progress of the wards.

    Whenever they come they are advised to see the principal first and inform his/her. No visitor will be allowed to meet a teacher while he/she is in the class.

    Realizing the importance of spoken English the school expects parents to encourage their children to speak English both in the campus and outside.

    Parents are requested to check the entries in the children's diary daily.

    Parents are advised not to compare or contract their ward with another to avoid psychological problem. It may be recalled that the heredity and environment of each students is unique.
